After my first instrumental project ‘Indica Float’ was released and I recieved some great feedback from the community, I knew that I had to do a second project. This project, to me, is special. I thought that my first project was lacking a cohesive theme and I wanted to make sure that my second project didn’t have the same pit fall.
I started writing ideas for the music in my notebook paper including ideas for names, and ideas for structures. I wanted the EP to have a storyline. Through music, I attempt to document the events of your day on this mysterious island. Neon Island.
My biggest inspiration for this project is the lush summer days spent outside soaking in the sun. Because I wanted the music to have a summer feel to it, I made all of the music in the afternoon when the sun is at its peak. Here are the previews for the project.
